First at the ER...well I was there for someone else. So while there, why not sketch?

And one in chalk pastels done at home...

Alive

My first painting of 2017 was completed today. I named it "Alive" since it was this spectacular cedar tree that I saw on a hike near Cultus Lake. Looking at this great giant, in the midst of a rain forest on the Pacific Northwest I felt alive. Painting this brought back each of these memories!
